Antiques Today is a group for anyone involved in or with an interest in today's thriving, diverse, and continually changing antiques and arts field. Professionals from antique-shop owners to investors to individuals doing part-time business in the field to amateur collectors will find news, trends, auctions, appraisals, and advice useful in their businesses and avocations. Reviews of books of interest for personal development, gifts for others, or for use with clients or customers will be regularly published by the group's originator Henry Berry. Henry Berry has been active in the antiques and auction field in Fairfield County, Connecticut, for more than 15 years, mostly in the area of antiquarian books and the related items of maps, prints, posters, photographs, and ephemera. He is also the editor/publisher of the monthly electronic periodical ANTIQUES TODAY - REVIEWS OF NEW BOOKS and the founder of Connecticut Book Auctions. At this time, he is working with a long-established Fairfield County auction house on acquiring and organizing distinctive antiquarian and collectible books as part of its regular auction and for auctions entirely of books and related items.
